My life here is starting...well, not getting boring, but it's always the same thing. Every week we do the same things and I mean, it's fun but I wish we would travel more or something. During the week it's hard to do anything fun and exciting because we all have class the next day so we leave it for the weekends but even then we haven't visited very many places.
We have break this coming week and my mom, sister and her boyfriend are coming! I am super excited. We are going to Paris, Venice and then we'll come here to Tours so they can see what my life is all about. Sad thing is that when they come here everyone will be in Paris or London so they won't get to meet any of my friends. :( It's ok, they can meet them back at CC. I can't wait to show my mom and sister and george everything here. My mom is going to fall in love and never want to go back home, which is fine by me because if she lives here... then I can live with her, :)
I haven't hit any type of culture shock yet which I find weird. I think that it may have to do with the fact that 7 CC people live in the same house and we are practically always together. Don't get me wrong, I love living here with everyone but I am REALLY starting to get annoyed with the fact that we only speak English. I feel like my French is getting worse the more I am here and it is really starting to frustrate me. When I try speaking French to the others or say we should speak French they all say "I know" and keep speaking English..granted I am to blame as well for not going through with the plan. Back to culture shock... I'm not really homesick, although at moments I do miss home and everyone in the states but I also don't find myself being in the "honeymoon" stage. I know this isn't "home", but other than my French, I do feel at home. I don't think that everything is amazing here, but I do love it a lot here and in my opinion, it's better than home. Everything is gorgeous here and life is just completely different. It's the life I was born to live.
Now I have to get ready for class, but I will try to update before I leave for Paris on Thursday morning!

Things will pick up once your family arrives! I know how you feel, the week definitely makes things slow down since we can't go places unless on the weekends!
